I no sooner hit "post" than word came through that the BBC has opened their Archive for the 45th anniversary and put early works about the development of Doctor Who online! As this has direct bearing on our project, I plan on reading through a good deal of it over the weekend and will undoubtedly post more about it then. I encourage you to take a look at some of these documents yourselves--remember, history isn't just kings and queens. This is history too!

I love history. Bit of a history buff myself. What I find particularly fascinating about "Doctor Who" is that you have a show that is rapidly approaching its 50th anniversary, and while there was that unpleasant gap in the 1990's and early 2000's, one can really watch the development of television production by seeing how it changed from season to season in Doctor Who. I know you have set out to focus on the 1960's episodes, but I can't be the only person who holds out hope that the lure of continuing the project beyond that point proves too hard to resist. On a technical note, there were actually 253 episodes of 1960's Who, and not 263 as it says under the "About Me" section.
